We will focus on the interrelated nature of the exposure risk assessments that industrial hygienists perform. In doing so, we will present strategies for navigating the interlocking relationships between the technical and management aspects of ISO 45001 to create a system—not just a checklist. Ultimately, we will show how a systems approach to workplace health and safety can result in positive benefits across the enterprise.
