IHMM Foundation Seeks to Expand CHMM-CSHM Professional Development Programs
| As part of the IHMM Foundation’s continuing effort to strengthen the professional development ecosystem supporting our credentials, we recently completed a detailed comparison of the Certified Safety and Health Manager (CSHM) Blueprint and a detailed review comparing the Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) Blueprint against the education and training programs currently available on the Foundation’s website. |
| These analyses—performed from both a credential integrity and workforce development perspective—identified several areas where additional course offerings would materially improve alignment with the CHMM and CSHM blueprint domains and subdomains. |
| The IHMM Foundation Professional Development Committee begins by working with the 29 education and training vendors we have worked with, giving preference to those vendors who are Friends of the Institute, to identify key programs to strengthen our course offerings. |
