Our Wastewater Compliance Manager™ course prepares you to evaluate permitting options, work with permitting authorities, understand permit requirements, and implement strategies for achieving full permit compliance.
Study compliance strategies for both NPDES direct discharges and discharges to sanitary sewer systems
There is more to wastewater discharge compliance than obtaining a permit and performing periodic discharge monitoring.
Wastewater Compliance Manager™ is popular with environmental managers who are responsible for ensuring compliance with EPA- or state-issued National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits or Industrial User Pretreatment Permits for discharges to sewer systems. In 2020, this course was changed from a 3-day course to a 2-day course to focus more specifically on the wastewater challenges faced by most environmental professionals.
(Note that although most industrial stormwater discharges are authorized by NPDES permits, stormwater compliance is only marginally addressed in this course. Stormwater discharges are the focus of our Stormwater Compliance Manager™ course.)
This course starts with the fundamentals of discharge permitting and moves into detailed discussions of both requirements and proven methods for compliance. Join your environmental professional colleagues for these solid presentations and open discussions! This course is offered both in person and online.
