This course provides annually required RCRA training on critical hazardous waste management, storage, and disposal requirements for generator facility personnel. This RCRA training will help satisfy US EPA’s annual training mandate for hazardous waste personnel, found at 40 CFR 262.17(a)(7). EPA requires initial training within 6 months of hire for new hazardous waste personnel.
Who takes this RCRA training?
This RCRA refresher training is ideal for individuals responsible for compliance with EPA hazardous waste regulations, including anyone who reads and interprets RCRA regulation, develops facility procedures, or trains other employees.
The training will benefit EH&S managers, supervisors, compliance officers, engineers, operators, waste handlers, or corporate attorneys who are responsible for RCRA hazardous waste compliance at the facility or corporate level.
This course is 8 hours in length and is approved for 8 IHMM CMPs
