Description:

-3.5 Days, 26 Contact Hours
-This course is a required core course for OSHA’s Public Sector Certificate.

About This Course:
This in-person course will introduce students to OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as construction industry safety and health principles. A copy of the 29 CFR 1910 General Industry Standards is included with the registration fee.

For those interested in becoming authorized 10hr and 30hr OSHA Outreach trainers, the OSHA #511 course meets one of two prerequisites for the OSHA #501 Trainer Course for the General Industry. (Please note, completion of the OSHA 30-hour outreach class is not equivalent to completion of the OSHA #511 course).

Examination:

In addition to attending the full course, students must pass a written multiple-choice examination to fulfill the requirements of this course.
