Location: Millsboro, DE (On-site)  Type: Full-time

Consentium Search is recruiting an Environmental Compliance Professional for a premier food production client in Millsboro, DE. This is a high-impact opportunity for an EHS professional to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advance their career within a major facility.

The Role

As a core member of the site EHS team, you will report directly to the facility EHS Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the strategic direction and daily management of all Environmental Health and Compliance programs.

Major Responsibilities

•          Partner with operational leadership to interpret and implement federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
•          Ensure facility activities align with both corporate and local environmental goals.
•          Lead and participate in facility inspections and audits, developing effective remediation plans when necessary.
•          Manage diverse environmental sectors, including:
•          Water: Wastewater and storm water.
•          Solid Waste: Hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams.
•          Air: Internal respiratory safety and external emissions.
•          Facilitate and lead employee training programs focused on EHS behaviors and regulatory compliance.
Minimum Requirements

To be considered, candidates must meet all of the following criteria:

•          Unrestricted authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.
•          Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, EHS, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
•          5+ years of dedicated environmental experience.
•          Demonstrated track record of executing compliance programs regarding Safety and Multi-Media Environmental regulations.
Preferred Competencies

•          Professional certification i.e. CSP, CHMM, etc.
