Join Our Client’s Team as an EHS Specialist in Manufacturing!

Are you an aspiring Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) professional eager to launch your career and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME)? We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our manufacturing client’s EHS team in Dover, NJ, as a full-time EHS Specialist. This on-site role is one of over 50 EHS positions we’re recruiting for nationwide, with relocation assistance available within the US.

 

About the Role:

Reporting to the EHS Manager, you will play a vital role in their EHS team, supporting the management and overall direction of EHS programs and activities at our facility. You will guide, coach, and mentor all on-site employees, empowering them to protect themselves, each other, and company assets in the most productive and efficient manner.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

•          Partner with operations leadership and the general workforce, serving as the SME for interpreting federal, state, and local OHS regulations.

•          Lead and participate in OHS audits and inspections, developing remediation plans as needed.

•          Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives related to OHS policies and programs.

•          Lead employee training programs focused on OHS behaviors and compliance.

 

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum Requirements:

•          Bachelor’s Degree

•          One (1) or more years of EHS experience in manufacturing environments (including internships).

 

Preferred Competencies (not required):

•          3+ years of EHS management experience in manufacturing environments.

Salary range: $70,000 to $100,000
