We are exclusively recruiting a Vice President of EHS for a premier, full-time position with our client. This is the top Occupational Safety seat within a large, multi-location organization.

Location: Fort Myers, FL (Highly preferred, but a hybrid/remote arrangement may be considered for a candidate who “hits on all cylinders”).

The Mission:

The successful incumbent will establish the vision of what safety means to the workforce, driving that vision throughout the company. You will oversee North American EHS programs, manage a large DOT-regulated fleet, optimize Workers’ Comp programs, and act as a primary change agent utilizing Behavior-Based Safety (BBS).

You will lead a Safety Team of 50-60 via 5 direct reports.

Key Requirements:

•          Experience: 10+ years of EHS management experience within large, multi-location organizations (15+ years preferred).

•          Scope: Demonstrated experience with operational oversight throughout North America.

•          Fleet & Work Comp: Direct success managing a large DOT-regulated fleet and Workers’ Compensation programs.

•          Metrics: Proven ability to leverage leading and lagging KPIs to lower health and safety metrics.

•          Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s/MBA or professional EHS certifications preferred).

•          Must be authorized to work for any US employer (Sponsorship not available).
