PSM and HazComm Best Management Practices Webinar

Loading Training

We’ll be talking about how OSHA’s PSM and HazComm Standards can and should work together to protect your people, plant and surrounding community even if you are not technically subject to the PSM standard.  Further we’ll go into detail on how your organization can benefit from looking beyond the strict compliance view of PSM and apply best-practice principles that will help you reduce risk, disruption, and harm.  Think of sewer systems, natural gas, high pressure environments, flammable/explosive environments, handling of chemicals NOT included in Appendix A of 29 CFR 1910.119.

Those of you involved in operating a facility that utilizes chemical processes, use of natural gas, operation of chillers, boilers, use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas, and similar may benefit from applying select PSM practices voluntarily – where you can pick and choose what to apply vs. the “have to” mindset that compliance brings.

While new is nice, often proactive practices may have been left behind due to cost concerns. On the other hand, many of us work in older/aging facilities where infrastructure is nearing or past it’s reasonably expected life.

Please join us to talk about applying some core principles of PSM in your facility as a best practice.  And make sure all your employees who work around or with chemicals don’t just certify having read about HazComm, but know about those chemicals in practice.

This webinar will be useful for EHS professionals and management operating manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, municipal utility services, landfills, airports and more.
