DGI’s General Awareness Program is for employees that require a basic understanding and recognition of handling of dangerous goods shipments for all modes of transport – 49CFR, IATA & IMDG.

This course is NOT for personnel who are responsible for acceptance checklists and regulatory review to determine compliance for a given shipment. Employees who need to review the regulations to determine a packages compliance with the rules, and personnel responsible for certifying shipments by signing a dangerous goods declaration or HazMat Bill of Lading will require additional training. This course is an overview of the regulations, and is not for qualification or certification.

Materials Required: General Awareness Student Workbook will be emailed to students and must be downloaded and printed.

Webinar Hours: 1pm -3pm Eastern Standard Time. Sign-in begins 15 minutes prior to class start time. Class times are Eastern Standard Time – please adjust according to your time zone.
