DESCRIPTION:This Bloodborne Pathogens Training is designed for healthcare professionals\, including laboratory personnel\, emergency responders\, public health practitioners\, supervisors\, and any employees who may encounter blood or other potentially infectious materials in the workplace. \nDr. Aurora Le\, PhD\, MPH\, CSP\, CPH\, Associate Professor at the Texas A&M University School of Public Health\, will provide an overview of bloodborne pathogens\, exposure control measures\, personal protective equipment (PPE)\, and procedures for responding to exposure incidents. Participants will gain practical knowledge to help reduce occupational risks and support compliance with workplace safety requirements. \nAurora Le\, PhD\, MPH\, CSP\, CPH \nAssociate Professor·Department of Health Behavior | Texas A&M University School of Public Health \n\nDr. Aurora Le PhD\, MPH\, CSP\, CPH is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Behavior at Texas A&M University School of Public Health. Her research interests center around occupational health\, with specific foci in occupational health disparities\, occupational justice\, psychosocial factors of work\, and workplace behaviors. Dr. Le’s practice-based work includes worker training and education\, adult curriculum development\, and infectious disease mitigation and management from an industrial hygiene perspective. Since 2015\, she has trained over 3\,500 workers nationwide. \n\nDr. Le is an expert in occupational health\, worker training\, and infectious disease mitigation.
