DESCRIPTION:The Certified Dangerous Goods Professional certification is a valued credential in the transportation safety industry. This course is designed to present students with an overview of the concepts covered in the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM) CDGP® exam. \nCDGP: Certified Dangerous Goods professional PowerPoint presentations with pre-recorded audio and supplementary material will take you through how to identify and prepare dangerous goods for shipment according \nThe CSU CDGP exam prep course is delivered entirely online and may be initiated by any CDGP applicant at any time. The CDGP applicant has up to 10 weeks to complete the prep course\, though an extension of the 10 weeks may be requested from CSU directly. The CSU CDGP exam prep course contains 8 modules covering the 4 principle texts involved in the CDGP exam\, as follows: \n\nUN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods\, and\nInternational Civil Aviation Organization’s Technical Instructions (ICAO TI)\, and\nInternational Air Transport Association’s Dangerous Goods Regulations (IATA DGR)\, and the\nInternational Maritime Organization’s Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG Code).\n\nThe presentation covers the topics outlined in the CDGP® examination blueprint (as indicated in the course syllabus). \nTextbook(s)\nAll course materials are included in the course at no additional fee. \nIt is highly recommended that students consult updated copies of the 4 text materials found here. \nPrerequisites to Take Certification Exam\nA minimum of five years of relevant experience in a field related to dangerous goods transportation to take the IHMM CDGP® certification exam.
